Swimming can now resume at Garryvoe Beach, East Cork. It follows a second satisfactory water quality sample by Cork County Council. The local authority then consulted with the HSE, who were satisfied that the water quality had indeed returned to “excellent” grade.
This means that the bathing water prohibition notice in place since the 22nd has now been officially removed.
