Cork City FC can confirm that Christian Nanetti has left the club
The winger has informed the club of his wish to return to England in order to seek more regular football first team, and his contract has been cancelled by mutual consent.
Commenting on the news, City boss John Caulfield said: “I would like to thank Christian for his efforts while he was here and wish him the very best of luck in the future. It is a very difficult squad to break into this year, and Christian had the likes of Stephen Dooley, Karl Sheppard and Steven Beattie ahead of him. Christian informed me that he wanted to leave in order to play more regularly and we have agreed to his request.”
All at the club would like to wish Christian the best of luck in the future.
