The Cork Region of the Workers’ Party will hold its annual Easter 1916 Commemoration this Sunday (Easter Sunday), 16th April at 12.00 Noon.
The Commemoration will take place at the Republican Plot at St. Finbarr’s Cemetery, Glasheen Road. This year’s oration will be delivered by Mayfield based Karen Collins of the party’s National Women’s Committee. The event will be chaired by Cllr. Ted Tynan and the 1916 Proclamation of Independence will be read by Terri Newman (also of Mayfield).
All are welcome.
