Classically elegant Jessica O’Gara has been unveiled as the celebrity judge of Most Stylish Sunday at Cork Racecourse Mallow during Mallow’s three day Racing Home for Easter Festival on April 15th, 16th and 17th.
In a fresh departure for the 2017 event, Cork Airport and Cork International Hotel are the new joint sponsors of Most Stylish Sunday. The winning high flying fashionista and a guest will take to the skies as they head Stateside with the newly announced Norwegian route to Boston Providence. The prize also includes pre-flight accommodation and dinner in the Cork International Hotel and free car parking for the duration of the trip, relaxing in the private business lounge and a voucher for The Loop for duty free treats prior to take off. The lucky winner will then spend three nights in luxury accommodation in the 4-star Lenox Hotel in Boston.
Managing Director of Cork Airport, Niall MacCarthy, said: “Boston is one of the most stylish cities in the United States and now you can fly there direct from Cork. Sponsoring the Most Stylish Sunday during the Racing Home for Easter Festival is the perfect opportunity to promote that to the fashion forward ladies and gentlemen of Cork, Munster and beyond.”
General Manager of Cork International Hotel, Carmel Lonergan, commented: “Style is synonymous with our luxurious premises, so it’s a natural fit to be sponsors of Most Stylish Sunday at Cork Racecourse Mallow.”
As always, the men aren’t forgotten as the most dapper gent on the day will scoop a €500 voucher for Barry’s Menswear Mallow.
Total prizemoney of €346,000 is on offer over the traditional three day Easter race meeting at Cork Racecourse Mallow and sales and marketing manager, Mary Kelly, said: “The action will be a mix of top class flat, national hunt, hunter chasing and point-to-point flat races. On Saturday, the feature race is the ultra-competitive Cork Handicap, on Sunday it’s the Grade 3 Imperial Call Chase, while on Monday we switch it up for a brilliant mix of flat racing, hunter chasing and point-to-point flat races, so there’s something for everyone over the three day festival.”
