Speaking afterwards Deputy Ó Laoghaire said;
“I am delighted to open this new office today in Carrigaline. It is a step forward for Sinn Féin in Cork South Central, and for the Party in Carrigaline.
“I hope it will also be a valuable service for the people of Carrigaline and the surrounding areas, including Ballygarvan, Crosshaven, Ringaskiddy Passage West, and Monkstown. The area has grown significantly in population in recent years and it is crucial that there is adequate resources present and that it is well represented.
“I will have my own clinic there every Monday from 2-4 and my colleagues Eoghan Jeffers and Michael ‘Frick’ Murphy will also be there, resulting in a service to the community of Carrigaline four days of the week.
“As a party we endeavour to offer a first class constituency service, and along with our office in Togher, and clinics in Mahon, Passage West, Douglas, and Barrack St, this office improves that service further.
