Bord Gáis Energy is looking for expert Registered Gas Installers in the Cork area to join its team of Boiler Service Engineers.
The company recently announced the re-launch of its residential energy services business. From November 2016, the Bord Gáis Energy boiler services business will be re-positioned as ‘HomeCare’, providing a range of heating and energy services in the home.
Bord Gáis Energy will invest €24m in the HomeCare business over the next three years and is recruiting an additional 22 full time Service Engineers to support business expansion. This is the first time Bord Gáis Energy has employed full time Service Engineers since 1985.
To support business growth, the company is also looking for expert Registered Gas Installers to join its existing panel of contracted Service Engineers, who will work on behalf of Bord Gáis Energy.
With HomeCare, Bord Gáis Energy offers a more expansive range of services including Gas Boiler Service & Repair; Oil Boiler Service & Repair; Carbon Monoxide Alarm Installations and Hive Active Heating smart heating controls. In 2017, Bord Gáis Energy will introduce a range of additional Hive products for householders such as smart plugs, smart lights and motion and contact sensors.
