The Cork Friends of Crumlin Charity Ball will take place on November 19th at the Clayton Hotel Silver Springs, Cork. The event aims to raise much needed funds for more than 1,220 Cork children and their families that rely on Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin annually.
John O’Doherty, Chairman of the Cork Friends of Crumlin Charity Ball committee said, “In the first nine months of 2016, 814 Cork children have attended as outpatients in Crumlin and another 385 children were inpatients at the hospital. Supporting fundraising events such as the Ball, provides the people of Cork with an opportunity to support the funding of lifesaving equipment and pioneering medical research for these at risk Cork children.”
Lisa Nicole Dunne, the CEO of The Children’s Medical and Research Foundation (CMRF) said, “We have always received great support from the people of Cork and we are delighted to have this prestigious event as a key fundraising highlight. Supporters of the Ball are helping to ensure that the one million children who will require support care and treatment at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin over the next five to six years, can benefit from the best possible environment, with the best equipment.”
