A Cork punter kicked off their Halloween Bank Holiday weekend with a fright, but the good kind, when they scooped €16,500.50 thanks to their Euromillions bet.
The bet had the miniscule stake of just 50 cent on the four numbers 10, 16, 19 and 43 to be drawn from the EuroMillions draw on Friday night.
The numbers were drawn and defied odds of 33,000/1 seeing this Rebel bag a whopping €16,500.50. The numbers would have only returned €54 had they been done with the National Lottery.
