Anticipation has been building and the countdown is on for the sell-out music and arts festival of the year, is almost upon us. Electric Picnic, one of Ireland’s top boutique festivals, takes place from Friday, 2nd to Sunday the 4th of September at Stradbally Estate, Co. Laois.
Bus Éireann will operate a return service to the event from Parnell Place, Cork picking up in Fermoy, Mitchelstown and Cahir. The service will depart from the Bus Station, Cork at 08:00 on Friday the 2nd of September with a return service from Stradbally at 12:00 on Monday 5th September to Cahir, Mitchelstown, Fermoy and Cork. Return tickets cost €40 and can be purchased in advance from our Travel Centre in Cork.
This special service will offer customers the chance to leave their cars at home and forget about driving, or carrying belongings from car parks. The festival experience with friends and other Picnickers, begins once you board one of our buses. In previous years, the direct bus service is very popular and tickets sell out fast, so book your tickets today to avoid any disappointment.
The line-up this year includes LCD Soundsystem, Lana Del Rey, The Chemical Brothers, New Order and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, among many more. For more check out www.electricpicnic.ie or www.buseireann.ie.
