The Mayor of County Cork last night hosted an event “jam packed with live music, bbq and refreshing summer drinks” in the slightly unexpected venue of County Hall.
The quirkey ‘Hooley in The Hall’ was a casual event space with a fun ‘country’ theme for a very memorable night out.
It took place on 17th June, from 7.30pm. For one evening only the usual hub of administration for Cork County was be decked out with bunting, picnic tables and hay bales to set the scene before Irish cajun band ‘Ray Barron and Friends’ (of Two Time Polka fame) warmed up the crowd. Celeb MC on the night was Eilish O’Carroll of Mrs Brown’s Boys.
