At 9.15am tomorrow Tuesday 14th June, Ard Mhéara Chorcaí Cllr. Chris O’Leary will open a Book of Condolence in The Atrium, City Hall for the victims and survivors of the tragedy in Orlando over the weekend.
Ard Mhéara Cllr. Chris O’Leary said
“I am opening a Book of Condolences to allow the people of Cork to express their sympathies to the families and friends of those who died in this terrible tragedy. We stand with the people of Orlando who have endured a terrible attack on their city. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of the United States, the community in Orlando and the LGBT community. The American flag will be flown beside the Irish Tricolour over City Hall.”
The Book of Condolences will be available for signing for 2 weeks during regular office hours.
