Network Cork kicks off the summer season with a sizzling event. The first event of the summer season will be a barbecue in Fota Island Hotel Clubhouse on Wednesday 1st June at 6pm with guest speaker Barbara Moynihan.
The get-together will be an exciting networking event hosted networking expert Barbara Moynihan from On Your Feet, a well-renowned Irish training company now expanding into the UK.
Barbara has over 15 years’ experience in the industry and works with a wide range of corporate, SME and individual clients helping them to get on their feet and speak with impact. Her clients range from start-ups to blue chip organisations in the financial and IT sector. Barbara has also been a TEDx speaker coach on several occasions.
Speaking ahead of the event Barbara said “I am really looking forward to meeting everyone at the first event of the summer. I know some people dread networking and it really shouldn’t be something people are afraid of as it can work wonders for any businesses if you do it right. By the end of this event guests will have learnt about the 3 C’s of networking so that they will be able to network more naturally in any future situation”.
Network Cork President Joan Walsh is looking forward to kicking off the summer season with this event and stated, “The summer is finally here and this is a great event to propel us into the summer season of events. This event will focus on networking and how to get the best out of networking events, something which is relevant to everyone. I am so thrilled to have Barbara here as our guest speaker, she is an expert in her field and no doubt will ensure everyone leaves the event with a few key tips on how to make networking work for them and their business. This event is open to everyone, including non-members so really looking forward to welcoming some new faces on the day”.
The event will run form 6pm – 8pm and attendees will get to enjoy a delicious barbeque on the beautiful grounds of Fota Island hotel while making new contacts and brushing up on their networking skills.
This is an open event which is free for members and €25 for guests. Advance booking is required, please visit https://networkcorkjunebbq.eventbrite.ie/ to book.
