Cork SME’s are being encouraged to get involved in Bank of Ireland’s 14th National Enterprise Week runs from Friday 13 to Friday 20 May. In Cork, there will be a business breakfast for SMEs titled “Achieving Ambition” in Rochestown Park Hotel on Wednesday, 18 May from 7.30am to 10am and SME’s can sign up to attend online.
The seminar aims to promote and drive business momentum for SMEs. The event will provide an opportunity for those attending to hear from industry experts as well as to network and share insights and business experiences.
The keynote speakers at the event will be Henry Shefflin, Kilkenny hurling legend and Dr. Loretta O’Sullivan, Bank of Ireland, Group Chief Economist.
Commenting on the event Liam Sheedy, Regional Manager for the South West at Bank of Ireland said “Through Bank of Ireland’s National Enterprise Week programme, we aim to help small and medium enterprises in practical ways by showcasing their products and services, and connecting them with mentors and fellow entrepreneurs. We are committed to supporting this networking activity, alongside our banking support for our business customers nationwide.”

Bank of Ireland is open for lending and looking to attract new customers and approved new credit of over €1.4 billion to the end of March 2016, which is up c. 21% 15% on the same period last year” concluded Liam Sheedy.
