Cork Greens spokesperson to the Ringaskiddy incinerator oral hearing, Dr. Gordon Reid, says – quoted in a Cork Green Party statement this morning – that he has found research showing thousands of years cut from the lives of people living near incinerators due to premature deaths. The research – the statement says – is cited by Indaver’s own health experts but they neglected to raise it at the hearings. He will present the findings at the oral hearing into the incinerator today.
The information is to be released today at the ongoing An Bord Pleanála oral hearing for the proposed incinerator in Ringaskiddy.
