Cork City Cllr Kenneth O’Flynn has submitted a motion for discussion at a meeting of Cork City’s elected Councillors.
That Cork City Council would carry out
(A) Digital Audit of the city that identifies where digital innovation is taking place across all sectors of the city,
(B) opportunities for digital innovation within the city
(C) put in place a full digital strategy
(D) sets clear five-year targets for the city, including: doubling the number of Cork forms selling products and services online. A 35 per cent improvement in productivity growth achieved through digital technology.support for 100 promising local digital start-up companies.
