Ballincollig & District Vintage and Classic Car Club ‘s Gougane Barra Run and Memorial Service will now take place on Sunday the 22nd of May, following the postponement of last Sunday’s Run due to the inclement weather.
The timetable & route will remain as planned:
Starting at Applegreen Service Station, Classis, Ovens, (beside Ballincollig Rugby Club) @ 12 noon. Travelling to Gougane Barra where Mass will celebrated in St. Finbarr’s Oratory for deceased members of vintage clubs including family members. Mass will take place at 1:30pm
From Gougane Barra the run will return to Macroom via the Top of Coom and to the Riverside Hotel for optional Dinner and presentation of prizes at 3pm.
The event is open to all Vintage Enthusiasts and the 20 year rule will apply – Vehicles up to 1996 will be accepted.
Anyone who wishes to have names mentioned during the Mass should send name to the club chairman in advance.
Note: This year’s annual show is on July 22nd-24th at the usual venue, Ballincollig Shopping Centre.
