A multi vehicle collision – involving up to 14 vehicles – has taken place on the Midleton to Cork City road (N25 inbound). It happened shortly before 3pm. The collision is located approximately 600m on the City side of the Cobh interchange.
Emergency services are at the scene.
The road is currently closed and diversions are in place. Motorists are asked to use alternative routes.
At this stage there are no serious injuries reported.
