This year EY employees, along with GAA stars, will hit the runway of the annual EY charity fashion show in styles inspired by the 1916 Rising. The hugely successful annual event is back for a 3rd year to raise much needed funds for Cork ARC Support House and Cork Cancer Research and will take place at the Rochestown Park Hotel on Thursday 28 April at 7pm.
Models will strut the catwalk in designs from Phoenix_V, Sheenas, Paperdolls, Miss Daisy Blue, Designer-Steals, Tony’s Menswear, Fitzgeralds, Blue Fig and Blush. The event will be hosted by leading Irish designer Sonya Lennon and styled by Xpose stylist Beth Haughton.
“At EY we recognise that we have a much wider responsibility both to our people, and to the communities around us in which we work. We are delighted to be a part of this event for the third year running that will hopefully raise much needed funding for these vital Cork cancer charities”, said John Higgins, Managing Partner of EY Cork.
Sunshine & Umbrellas, who to date have raised more than €90,000 for Cork Cancer charities, are partners with EY in the event, and bring their wealth of experience in fundraising for cancer charities.
“All funds raised will go directly to the Cancer charities in Cork. We are thrilled that EY have come on board for a third year to support Cancer Research Cork and Cork ARC Cancer Support House. Our partnership continues to grow in strength and for that we are most grateful,” said Niamh Horgan of Sunshine and Umbrellas.
“Cork ARC Cancer Support House are truly grateful to EY and Sunshine & Umbrellas for your support. Without the commitment of our volunteers and the enthusiasm of our fundraisers and donors the impact experienced by families with cancer could not be supported. It is the generosity of spirit and funds by you that make our services happen. On behalf of Cork ARC and our patients and relatives, our sincere thank you,” Ellen Joyce, Director of Services, Cork ARC Cancer Support House
