65 new housing units are to be built at the site owned by Cork City Council at Deanrock in Togher.
The development will be advertised next month and is subject to a public consultation process. I think it is important the local residents engage during the consultation period, so that the final design will meet the needs of the local community in Togher.
Fine Gael TD for Cork South Central, Jerry Buttimer told TheCork.ie;
The plans “are being prepared by the City Architects Department, are now at an advanced stage for the construction of these 65 new housing units on the site at Deanrock, Togher. These new units will provide homes for many families waiting for housing and it increases the opportunity to get a home in the Togher area.”
“New housing units are badly needed in Cork, with the large demand for homes, and it’s great to see that the City Council is now progressing plans to build these new homes.
