An Armagh musician Niall Murphy, who has perfected a cover of “Thriller” which has gone viral on Youtube, will play in Cork in March.
How was it recorded?
He used an App called Acapella to merge nine separate tracks. After he uploaded the video to his various social media pages it went viral after it caught the attention of a number of BBC Radio Ulster, Today FM, Belfast Live, The Belfast Telegraph, The Star, The Independent and UTV. Most recently Niall along with his Breaking Trad band members, Donal Murphy and Mike Galvin appeared on RTE 1 TV’s Today Show with Dáithí Ó Sé and Maura Derrane.
