Derval O’Rourke, former Olympic athlete, will today launch the Irish Guide Dogs for the blind Christmas campaign for 2015.

Derval will attend a photocall at the Guide Dogs Headquarters on the Model Farm Road around lunchtime. The athlete will be joined by her own trusty labradoodle ‘Berlino’ to unveil the Irish Guide Dogs #GoWalkies campaign for the month of December.
The #GoWalkies campaign is all about encouraging the nation to take their dogs out for a walk this December and post their Christmas selfie with their dog to the Irish Guide Dogs Facebook and Twitter page. The Cork based organisation will be encouraging the public to donate as they post their #GoWalkies selfies.
