It has been confirmed that the Mardyke Arena, University College Cork will be presented with ISO 14001 (International Environmental Management Systems) & ISO 50001 (International Energy Management Systems) International Standards by Certification Europe and the 2015 All Ireland National Irish Safety Organisation Top Health & Safety Award for Sport & Leisure Facilities.
The awarding of these international standards, next week, will be the culmination of a two year investment in standards, commitment and dedication by the staff and management of the Arena. The Mardyke Arena is one of a small number of organisations worldwide to have more than 4 World Class International Management Systems Standards.
The awards will further boost UCC’s credentials in the competitive Educational and Sports training marketplaces.
