OpenText today announced that it has officially opened its new Global Customer Support Centre in Cork, Ireland, creating over 100 highly skilled roles over the next two years.
First announced in November 2014 the new facility in Cork will provide support for the company’s flagship Enterprise Information Management (EIM) products and solutions, for both the European region and global markets. The Cork operation is one of three Global Customer Support Centers for OpenText, with the others located in Waterloo, Canada and Manila, The Philippines.
James McGourlay, SVP, Global Technical Services at OpenText, commented: “As customers embrace the challenges of an increasingly digital world, they are looking to partner with organizations that can deliver both industry-defining software and world-class customer service. The official opening of OpenText’s new global customer support center in Cork will help us to deliver the levels of support and service that our customer demand, drawing on the technology talent pool that marks out Ireland, and Cork in particular.”
