Gardaí at Fermoy are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occured yesterday afternoon, Saturday 22nd August 2015 at 4 p.m.
A male motorcyclist (41 years) was fatally injured when his motorcycle collided with a car. The collision occurred at Ballinrush, Kilworth, Co. Cork. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Cork University Hospital. The occupants of the car were uninjured.
The road was closed and local traffic diversions were in place. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have completed their examination of the scene.
