Audi Cork, and two other Audi Service teams from across the country, will compete at the very first national final of the Audi Twin Cup later this week.
The competition recognises excellence among Audi’s service advisers and technicians by testing their diagnostics and repair competence, and their ability in customer service and support.
The Twin Cup, in its eleventh international year, drew 75 teams from 38 countries to the 2014 world final.
For the past six months, Service teams from every Audi dealership in Ireland have been participating in Audi Twin Cup competition challenges to test their skills.
The qualifying teams – from Audi Cork, Audi North Dublin and Audi Athlone – will progress to the national final, to be held at Audi Ireland’s Liffey Valley headquarters on Saturday, 28 March.
The winners of the national final will represent the country at the Audi Twin Cup world championship final this summer.
Close and efficient cooperation between service advisers and technicians is the primary determining factor in winning the top award.
Christian Gussen, Managing Director of Audi Ireland, wished the participants good luck, adding: “The Audi Twin Cup is a testament to Audi’s commitment to class-leading customer service. It provides an opportunity to test and refine our employees’ skills while building a cooperative working environment.
“Audi Ireland is the country’s leading premium car brand, and that success is built on the expertise of our customer service advisers and technicians. We wish the winners of the national competition the very best of luck at the Twin Cup world championship” said Mr Gussen.
