Inchydoney in West Cork has claimed Trip Advisors’ top spot as the
best beach in Ireland for a second year in a row.
Local Labour TD McCarthy welcomed the news saying, “Ireland boasts
some of the most spectacular and varied coast lines in all of Western
Europe. With thousands of kilometres of coastline and hundreds of
beaches to choose from, we are really spoilt for choice when it comes
to hitting the seaside.
“West Cork is home to some of the most spectacular beaches in Ireland
and Inchaydoney certainly deserves the top spot. This is Ireland at
it’s best. Without doubt it is one of the most dramatic and scenic
beaches in the country. Beaches like this are why Ireland’s coastline
is world renowned for being stunningly beautiful.”
