Various towns across Co Cork have parking fee relaxations for the Christmas period.
Confusingly each is different, conspiracy theorists will say this is purposeful by officials who will next year suggest a blanket County wide parking policy and will cite Christmas confusion as a reason.
TheCork.ie has compiled details from the various Towns:-
BANDON
FREE OFF STREET PARKING IN HARTE’S CAR PARK, 9AM-2PM DAILY FROM

MACROOM

MALLOW
1 Hour Free Parking in Mallow Town commencing Friday, 28th November, 2014 until Friday, 2nd January
All on-street and all car parks in the town will be allowing the first hour free and if people wish to stay longer, they can do so by paying the modest parking charges which are as low as 20 cents for 15 minutes. Please ensure that you have a parking ticket displayed from when the one hour free parking finishes. In order to keep the turnover of car parking on the Main Street of Mallow, parking remains limited to one hour only.
The current arrangements of free parking before 10am and after 5pm on Monday to Saturday and free parking all day Sunday remain unchanged and in place.
