Dairygold is creating 115 full-time jobs and investing 117 million
euro in County Cork
The jobs will come on stream by the year 2020, and will be in Mallow
and Mitchelstown
The expansion is also expected to create 400 temporary construction roles.
Dairygold is spend 83.5 million renovating its milk processing site in Mallow.
and 33.5 million upgrading its Castlefarm Dairy factory in Mitchelstown.
Dairygold is Ireland’s largest farmer owned dairy co-operative,
processing a fifth of Ireland’s milk.
The new facility Mallow will be necessary to process the additional
milk which will be produced in the region following the end of EU milk
quotas in just over 6 months time.
