56 new jobs are being created in Cork City.
Recruitment firm Oxford International is investing 16 million euro in its
European Headquarters on Penrose Quay, bringing staff numbers up to 130.
Oxford is a division of a multi-national called “On Assignment” which has
offices in US, Canada, UK, Netherlands, Belgium and Spain.
The investment is supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and
Innovation through IDA Ireland and was made by Taoiseach Enda Kenny who
visited Cork yesterday.
Cork North Central (FG) introduced the Taoiseach as a podium in the red
brick oxford building. The Taoiseach spoke and then introduced Oxford’s
President Michael J. McGowan. Mr McGowan had flown in from California and
told TheCork.ie that the decision to invest in Cork was an easy one
