An Irish politician has been named “MEP of the Year”
Sean Kelly – who represents the constituency of “Ireland South”, which includes Cork – received the award in the “Digital Agenda” category.
MEPs are chosen following a vote by their peers, and the awards took place in Brussels last night.
Sean Kelly dedicated this title to “Coder Dojo”, a programming club established in Cork in 2011
