Visitors to this years Saint Patrick’s Festival in Cork City will get a
Free Lunch!
5-thousand people will enjoy a vegetarian curry made from so-called
grade 2 or 3 vegetables which don’t meet the precise dimensions demanded by
supermarkets
It’s being organised by the “Cork Food Policy urban dining initiative” who
want to highlight
how much food is wasted in todays society.

Organisers of the Patrick’s weekend in the City are promising three days of
fun and
100-thousand visitors.
City Hall will be illuminated in green, and the highlight will be the
parade on Monday, March 17th.
