Ernest Cantillon – from the Electric Bar and Restaurant on the South Mall –
has been re-elected as President of the Cork Business Association for
another year.
Established in 1957 to represent traders in the City the C-B-A has held
it’s Annual General Meeting
President Ernest Cantillon outlined the goals for the year ahead.
He says trying to reduce the cost of city centre parking
and trying to fill vacant retail premises are the priorities.
The C-B-A have recently held meetings with NAMA who control
many empty units.
