Saturday 28th hosts a Gala sponsored meeting for The Cork Greyhound
Owners and Breeders Association End of Year Party Night. In
conjunction with this we have twelve sponsored races on the night. The
Droopys Stud S3/S4 330 Final is on this Saturday night where the
winner will take home €600 and a trophy. The likely favourite here is
Hursul Donie owned by Patricia Hurley from Ballinhassig, Co. Cork. We
also have the final of The Michael O’Keeffe A5 525 Stake with €500 and
a trophy for the winner. The one to watch for here is Droopys Island
owned by Morris Torrance from Scotland and trained by John A. Linehan.
Next on the card is the final of The Mountleader Matt @ Stud A4 Stake
with €600 and a trophy for the winner. The one to watch for in this
final is Burgess Special owned by Sheila Spillane from Killeagh, Co.
Cork. The Ballymac Vic A2 575 Final is next on the night where the
winner will take home €600 and a trophy. The likely favourite here is
Haughtyvanpersie owned by Frank Clune from Mallow, Co Cork. The
Chenzhou Boy @ Stud A2 525 Final is next with €600 and a trophy for
the winner. The one to watch for is Droopys Der owned by Kieran Ryan
from Dublin Hill, Co. Cork and trained by John A. Linehan. Next on the
night is The Two Wheel Training A1 525 Stake with €1,650 and a trophy
being taken home by the winner. The likely favourite here is Slippark
Tafari owned by Don Hyde from Bantry, Co. Cork. The final of The
Bartlemy Road Ltd A3 525 Stake is also on Saturday night with €1,500
and a trophy for the winner. The one to look out for here is Cool
Present owned by Angela Doherty from Mallow, Co. Cork. We also have
The Curraheen Park Bookmakers Getting Out Stake with €400 to the
winner. A great night of racing to look forward to here at Curraheen
Park.
