O’Sullivans Topaz/Centra in Innishannon County Cork has won a leading
industry award.
The well known station – on the site of the former Denis and Mary Ryan
showroom – won the Newcomer of the Year Award at Ireland’s Forecourt
and Convenience Retailer Awards, which were held recently in Dublin.
The awards, now in their eighth year, were presented by TV 3 presenter
Sinead Desmond at a gala reception in the Clyde Court Hotel in
Ballsbridge.
Overall Topaz sites won seven of the fifteen IFCR Awards on offer.
Paul Candon, Marketing and Corporate Services Director at Topaz, said
the company was delighted for Barry O’Sullivan and all the team in
Innishannon.
“This is a great achievement for everyone at O’Sullivans Topaz/Centra,
especially given the extremely high standards of the competition. They
have hit the ground running and it is fantastic to see their hard work
and enthusiasm being recognised with this award.
Enhancing the customer experience is the key to building up a business
and thanks to their professionalism and dedication that’s what Barry
is doing and what everyone at Topaz is doing at our sites all over the
country” Mr Candon said.
The IFCR Awards are designed to reward professionalism and
entrepreneurial spirit, acknowledge innovation and commitment and at
the same time help to raise industry standards.
