Two celebrities from the Music World have received Cork Passports.
Jedward – made up of 21-year-old twins John and Edward Grimes – were presented with their documents in Cork City Hall this afternoon by the Lord Mayor Labour Cllr Catherine Clancy and their upbeat personalities were a big hit.
The novelty Rebel Passport is part of Rebel Week which will take place in October. The Passport will give discounts in shops, pubs, hotels, and leisure outlets across the City and County, and organisers hope it will boost tourism. Anyone who wants a Cork passport should visit CorkRebelWeek2013.com
Jedward will play two concerts in Munster next week: Friday 26th July – Neptune Stadium, Cork and Saturday 27th July – UL Basketball Arena, Limerick
