Last Thursday we attended the opening of Cork’s newest Bar and Bistro,
located at Cork International Airport Hotel.
More than one hundred guests, locals and members of the business community
gathered on what was also the last function attended by outgoing Lord Mayor
Fine Gael Cllr John Buttimer.
Themed in New York style, the latest addition to the Cork International
Airport Hotel, was brimming with glitz and glamour as guests really got
into a New York state of mind!
Executive Head Chef, Hugh Bailey served up a mouth- watering display of Big Apple inspired creations while guests
treated to a Prosecco reception, New York Berry cocktails, Rat Pack
entertainment and goodie bags on departure.‘The New Yorker Bar’ has an
excellent array of artisan and locally produced food items on its menu and
boasts an extensive selection of wines, spirits, whiskeys and cocktails
from the four corners of the globe.
Aaron Mansworth, General Manger at The Cork International Airport Hotel was thrilled to see the success of “The New Yorker” opening. In addition to the New Yorker Bar, the hotel recently launched its ‘Lobby Lunch’ which runs from 12.30pm-3.30pm on Sundays.
The buffet offers guests and locals alike a selection of starters, soup,
