A musician from Cork will receive a special award from Prince Charles
today to recognise his work mentoring children.
Ruairi Glasheen grew up in Cobh and is a Percussionist doing a Masters
at the London’s Royal College of Music,
Prince Charles is President of the College and Ruari will receive a
rose bowl, carved from the Prince’s Duchy of Cornwall estate.
Ruairi Glasheen is currently a member of Live Music Now with folk
group Tir Eolas.
