Munster Rugby is selling part of it’s Musgrave Park lands.
It’s appointed Property Agents Savills Ireland to sell a strip of
1-point-1 acres which faces onto the Kinsale Road
There’s a guide price of 400-thousand euro, and Munster Rugby say
money raised through the sale of this unused land
will go towards upgrading the remainder of Musgrave Park.
There are plans to increase crowd capacity by thirteen hundred by building
a new west stand and dressing rooms, media and
medical facilities, and a function room.
That re-development could commence in January 2014 and take up to 9 months
to complete.
Meanwhile… Peter O’Meara from Saville Property Agents says he
expects a lot of inquiries about the strip of land which is now for sale
