O’Connell Group has requalified as one of Ireland’s ‘Best Managed’
companies in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards Programme. *O
Connell Group *was first recognised as a Best Managed Company in 2012. The
company, which demonstrated superior business performance for a second year
running, was recognised at a gala awards dinner in the Burlington Hotel in
Dublin on 1 March 2013. Former Taoiseach and Chairman of IFSC Ireland, John
Bruton, was special guest speaker at the event.
The Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards Programme, in association with
Irish Life Corporate Business, recognises indigenous Irish companies across
the island of Ireland which are operating at the highest levels of business
performance.

O’Connell Group, one of Ireland leading logistics companies, was
established over 30 years ago to provide integrated solutions for its
various clients across a wide spectrum of industries in the Pharmaceutical,
Chemical, Food, Drinks, and Computer sectors. The company now employs more
than 50 people and has over 746,000 square feet of warehousing, a large
fleet comprising of 24 trucks, 144 trailers, extensive container handling
facilities and a pallet manufacturing division. As an export driven
