Cork Chamber Chief Executive Conor Healy today welcomed the announcement
that FireEye, a leading provider of software protection against web and
email next-generation security threats, is to open an EMEA technical
support centre in Cork creating 150 new multilingual and technical support
jobs.
Commenting on today’s announcement, Mr. Healy stated that “Cork Chamber is
delighted with FireEye’s decision to select Cork as a base to develop and
expand their global operations. Cork has already attracted high levels of
investment from leading global ICT companies and FireEye’s announcement

well as an enabling and supportive business environment in the region.
Mr. Healy concluded by saying that, “FireEye has recognised the high

great place for international business and once again deepens the strong
business links between Cork and Silicon Valley.”
