Cork Chamber Chief Executive Conor Healy today welcomed the announcement that Hittite Microwave Corporation, a US semi-conductor company is to invest €4 million in Research & Development activities in addition to establishing its international Operations Centre in Cork creating 30 new jobs for the Cork region.
Mr. Healy stated that “Cork Chamber is delighted with Hittite’s decision to further invest in Cork. The decision provides a positive and welcome boost to the region and adds to the already significant level of investment in the technology sector. It further substantiates the strength of the Cork region as a location of choice for industry requiring high skills levels and a positive business environment.”
