Irish owned outsourcing company SouthWestern has announced the appointment of David Grindle as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Grindle has 15 years experience in leading international financial service operations and his appointment underlines SouthWestern’s intention to target new business in financial services, the public sector and the finance & administration sector. Before joining SouthWestern, Grindle was the Europe, Middle East and Africa Operations Director for HP International Bank, the financing arm of Hewlett Packard. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President at Citibank, Global Transaction Services.
Grindle will divide his time between the main operational centres in Clonakilty and the Company’s Polish base in Lodz – he previously worked as an international finance consultant in Eastern Europe – as well as the company’s offices in Dublin and London. SouthWestern CEO, Jim Costello said the appointment highlighted the Company’s commitment to investment and growth.

Grindle, who hails from Cavan, is married with two children.
