A landmark business in Douglas has re-opened this Evening, around 5pm, for the first time since the village was devastated by floods.
KC’s chipper was one of around 100 businesses which were flooded back on June 28th, when Douglas along with Clonakilty, Glanmire Blackpool and other parts of Cork were flooded after heavy rain.
Since then various premises in Douglas have been re-opening. The nearby Douglas Village Shopping Centre three weeks ago.
