Cork City will be looking to get their first league win of the season tomorrow night as they face Monaghan United at Turner’s Cross.****
Monaghan are bottom of the table, level on points with City, going into the game, and City manager Tommy Dunne told *CorkCityFC.net* that his side will have to do the basics right to get the win they are looking for: “It is still very early in the season, so there is a long way to go and plenty of time for us to climb up the table. When you are in the middle of a rough spell, people need to dig in, do the basics right, work hard and let everyone in this division know that we are here, we want to stay and we are prepared to fight for it.****
“It’s a home game against a side who we are competing with for position in the table right now, so we have to go out and try to get the three points. You always want to get the win when you are at home, regardless of the opposition or their position in the table. We need to get our season going; it’s as simple and straightforward as that.”****
Kalen Spillane has recovered from a back injury he picked up in the defeat to Bohemians, while Stephen Mulcahy, Kevin Murray and Neal Horgan all remain sidelined with knee injuries. Other than that, Dunne has no injury concerns ahead of the tie.****
