Tanora – the drink considered to be a true Rebel tradition – is to be put to the
ultimate taste test by its legions of fans in Cork.
Recently the formula of the tangerine-flavoured sparking drink was altered but
feedback from fans was mixed, so much so that Tanora’s manufacturers have
decided to put Tanora to the taste test – by asking the people of Cork to decide on
its future flavour!
An online vote has opened on the Tanora Facebook page (www.facebook.com/
TanoraACorkLegend) and Tanora’s loyal followers are invited to cast their vote for
either the original or new formulation.
The Tanora Ultimate Taste Test will also be facilitated in 80 convenience and petro-
retail outlets as well as supermarkets and in Cork city and county – where ballot
boxes will be located across Centra, Costcutter, Gala, Dunnes, Tesco, Londis, Mace,
Spar, Topaz, Day Today, Mace Maxol, Statoil & Supervalu stores from July 4th – July
31st.
Voting will close at the end of July at which time all in-store and online votes will be
counted with the results announced via Facebook in August.
If the people of Cork decide the original Tanora formulation should be brought back,
it will be reintroduced to Cork shelves and shoppers at the end of August!
