The “Entrepreneur Experience” is a unique event for Ireland’s emerging Entrepreneurs to gain exclusive access to some of Ireland’s most successful Entrepreneurs. Developed by Cork Business Innovation Centre and driven by CorkBIC board member Jim Breen, CEO PulseLearning, this event is an exceptional opportunity for emerging entrepreneurs with a new idea, an investor ready proposition or with an established business that is seeking to scale.
The emerging entrepreneurs will get a critical review as well as being shown how to create, access and capture new opportunities with group and one-to-one sessions with some of Irelands leading Entrepreneurs.
Jim Breen, having engaged with CorkBIC when launching Pulse Learning in 1999, understands only too well the value of a 24 hour event like this to fast track key emerging entrepreneurs as well as getting invaluable advice from those who have been there!
“There has never been a greater need for the Entrepreneur in Ireland. All those participating at the event have started their own business and know what it is like to work at the coal face. They understand what it takes to be an Entrepreneur and how hard it is to get across that first hurdle.” said Jim Breen, CEO PulseLearning. “This is an invaluable opportunity for emerging Entrepreneurs to pick the brains of some of Ireland’s top business people, an opportunity like this doesn’t come around very often.”
Participating at the event will be Michael Carey, Executive Chairman Jacob Fruitfield Food Group who said that “In these uncertain times, its events like these that will give emerging Entrepreneurs an edge in their business propositions and road maps.”
Also participating at the event will be Liam Casey, CEO of PCH International who won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2007. On confirmation of his participation Liam said “I am excited about being involved in the Entrepreneur Experience project and meeting the latest and newest Entrepreneurs in Ireland. We need to encourage Irish Entrepreneurs as they are the businesses that will get Ireland back on track.”
Other participating Entrepreneurs include; Jim Barry from the Barry Group, Colum O’Sullivan and Cullen Allen from Cully and Sully and Fred Karlsson of DoneDeal.ie.
Emerging Entrepreneurs are invited to review the selection criteria and application form on the CorkBIC website and contact CorkBIC if they are interested in applying for a place at The Entrepreneur Experience.
