LifeFM received the award from the Football Association Of Ireland for their commitment to reporting women’s soccer. As well as regular show’s dedicated to the game locally, the station also sent reporters to a number of matches recently to report live from the games, including the European Women’s Under 17 final in Nyon Switzerland.
Presenting the award to LifeFM were Paul Cleary (FAI National Coordinator of Women’s Soccer) and Emma Martin (Women’s Unit) of the FAI and Irish women’s soccer star Denise O’Sullivan
