Specialist Turkey holiday operator, WINGS ABROAD recently announced a new summer holiday service from Cork to Izmir beginning in May 2011.
The new direct service will operate each Sunday from May to October this year and will feature an excellent selection of hotels and apartments from 3 star to 5 star accommodation, catering for all tastes and budgets in well known resorts such as Kusadasi, Gumbet, Bitez and Bodrum.
The new operator is an Irish registered company which will work in tandem with Turkish based Peninsula Tours Group, a hugely successful travel company specialising in incoming and outgoing travel in Turkey since 1988.
The WINGS ABROAD programme also exclusively features some brand new ‘all inclusive resorts’ which have not been available to the Irish market until now including Palm Wings and Venosa Beach Resorts, both of which offer excellent value for money as well as a fantastic selection of activities and entertainment.
Kevin Cullinane, Marketing Manager, Cork Airport added: “This is great news for sun worshippers who now have a wider choice of sun destinations from their local airport. As a non-European destination Turkey is particularly attractive, offering excellent value for money this summer.”
Speaking at the launch of the new programme, Irish Head of Sales and Marketing, Carol Anne O’Neill said: ‘Many of the properties in our programme will be very familiar to Irish customers as they have been firm favourites with Turkish holiday enthusiasts for many years. Our on the ground experience combined with the dedicated team of travel experts we have based in our new Dublin office will ensure Irish holidaymakers will get the very best levels of service and support when booking their holiday to Turkey in 2011”.
